Circuit City Causes $12,000 Worth of Damage in Botched Car Stereo Installation

Imagine taking your brand new car to Circuit City to get a stereo installed - and coming out with over $12,000 in estimated costs to fix the damage done by their incompetent technicians.

That’s exactly what happened to this gentleman who has posted about this awful incident on a Honda Civic enthusiasts message board.

Apparently while trying to get the new stereo equipment installed in the dash, the Circuit City crew cut into the heating ducts and destroyed components of the electrical system that controls the airbags.

Now to make matters worse, Circuit City has ceased all communications with this poor guy, and he just got the estimate from his Honda dealer about the required repairs.
